Eighteen years ago, when we first opened the doors to Oak & Harper, we had a simple vision — to create a space where timeless style, lasting quality, and a personal touch came together. What we didn’t expect was how deeply it would shape our lives.

Every item we selected, every kind word shared, and every familiar face that returned became part of something far beyond retail. Oak & Harper grew into a space of connection — where stories were exchanged, style felt meaningful, and strangers became friends.

Rachel poured her energy into hand-picking collections that felt effortlessly elegant and true to the everyday woman. David, with his deep respect for heritage craftsmanship, made sure every piece held up to the standard we believed in from the start. Together, we built something we never took for granted — a place where people felt welcomed, seen, and inspired.

As we prepare to step into retirement and close this chapter, we do so with full hearts. The memories, the conversations, and the relationships we’ve built will stay with us forever. Though Oak & Harper is closing its doors, the spirit of what we created will live on — in every home, every outfit, and every person who carried a piece of us with them.
